Huawei has filed a patent for a new pair of truly wireless earbuds at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
The patent images show a design language that is similar to Samsung Galaxy Buds+ with in-ear style ear tips and a microphone. It’s possible the Huawei truly wireless earbuds could have a touch sensor at the back to change tracks, take calls and more. Not much else is known about the Huawei truly wireless earbuds at the moment. It is possible that these TWS earbuds could be launched by Huawei or by the company’s sub-brand Honor in the near future.
The flat rounded surface would be perfect for a touch sensor that can allow the user to change music tracks, pause and play songs, answer or dismiss calls and invoke an AI assistant, among other things. There is a microphone as well for calls and the silicone eartips would offer some amount of noise cancellation.
