A reputed Chinese tipster on Weibo called Digital Chat Station has also revealed that Honor intends to rename the next phone in its X-series as the Honor X10.
It is believed that Honor has renamed its smartphone as X10 so as to not confuse it with Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi 10X smartphone. While the Redmi 10X is touted to be a 4G device, the alleged Honor X10 will likely be a 5G device and the cheapest one at that. The Redmi K30 5G currently holds the tag for the cheapest 5G-capable device starting at CNY 1,999. The Honor X10 could likely start at a lower price point and it will probably be running the recently announced Kiri 820 5G chipset.
Details about the Honor X10 are sparse at the moment. The phone has a listing on the Chinese e-commerce website Jingdong Mall but there is no mention of any specifications and the pricing of CNY 9,999 is incorrect. It is being reported that the phone will likely have a punch-hole on the front and it may house a 64MP lens as the primary camera on the back.
