Black Shark 5 Pro powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The chip is kept cool by two vapor chambers, one on each side (4,323 mm² + 997 mm²). The Snapdragon is paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB storage.

The storage is split equally between an NVMe SSD and the usual UFS 3.1 (i.e. 256+256 GB in the 512 GB model). Using the DM Cache technology, Black Shark has managed to significantly improve random read and write performance. Also, the fast LPDDR5 (6,400 Mbps) RAM can be used to create a RAM disk for the occasions even faster storage is required.

Black Shark 5 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that supports HDR10+ with a DCI-P3 colour gamut. The screen supports 144Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate which is ideal for gamers. Black Shark has added shoulder buttons with a magnetic touch that pops out on the side.

Black Shark 5 Pro has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 5-megapixel telephoto sensor.
