Xiaomi 12 Ultra imaging system co-designed with Leica

The Xiaomi 12 Ultra will arrive as the successor to the Mi 11 Ultra that debuted in March last year. The device will be a top-of-the-line flagship offering in the Xiaomi 12 lineup that consists of standard, Pro and X models.

As per Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station,The Xiaomi 12 Ultra codenamed L1,the device has a rear three-camera system, which is Xiaomi’s top imaging flagship this year. It may be named Mi MIX 5 or Mi 12 Ultra.Xiaomi 12 Ultra imaging system co-designed with Leica。

As per Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to come with an OLED display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will reportedly be backed by a 4,900mAh battery unit with support for 120W fast charging. Rumours also indicate that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra may be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor.

At the moment, the company does not name the release date of Xiaomi 12 Ultra, but the well-known insider Mukul Sharma is ready to name the time of its release. According to him, the flagship will debut in China in May this year, and later enter the global market. Unfortunately, he did not give a specific date for the announcement. How accurate he is in his forecast, we will find out in the last month of spring. There is evidence that the company could postpone the release of Xiaomi 12 Ultra to the second half of the year.
